Butterdish – 1W 131 1944

The butterdish or “Fettbuchse” was the issue container for the German butter ration. The Germans where issued a amount of butter with their rations. Most standard butterdishes open in 1/4th of a turn and are made of bakelite.

Markings: 1W 131 on the bottom, 1944 on the lid
