Reinforced MG34 butt stock

Rare spare part; a original MG34 butt stock in good condition. The brass ring was expertly formed around the round part of the stock. This is not a repair as the bakelite underneath is undamaged. It is unknown when this reinforcement was done. There are some sources stating it is a postwar modification, other sources say its a wartime ‘Waffenmeister’ modification. With these instances taken in mind I think I priced it right, regardlessly this is a very hard spare to find!
