M18 proxy marriage helmet

Rare M18  proxy wedding helmet. These miniature helmets were given to brides at their long distance wedding, which were used during ceremony. The lady should put her hand on this miniature helmet when her soon to be husband puts his hand on his own combat helmet to take the wedding oath. A typical German military piece which shows how daily life was adapted to the “military lifestyle”. The helmet is in good condition with about a lot of its original factory finish. Nice period example that would look great in a helmet collection! This is the first tham that I encountered this type of proxy wedding helmet which is made to the M18 model helmet!
