German issue turtleneck sweater

German issue turtleneck sweater in used condition. Whilst the Italian stock examples can be found on the market finding a wartime, issued turtleneck is very hard. The size is a good medium to large fitting most modern mannequins. The sweater was period modified with a zipper in the collar which is a typical period (!) modification. This piece has recently surfaced in a cloth processing plant and has never been a part of a collection before. Choice piece!
