Fallschirmjäger regiment 3 photo album with 125 photos
New€2,000.00A very nice original photo album belonging to a Fallschirmjäger who served with FJR3 in Holland, Crete, Russia, Africa, Sicily, Italy, and Monte Cassino. Allthough FJR3 was formed in August 1940; the first photograph in the album clearly shows a Jäger portrait who is wearing several awards but most specifically a Dutch FN1922 holster which could only be a souvenir of the 1940 battle in the Netherlands and as such suggests he was transferred from a different Fallschirmjäger Regiment. The album contains 125 nice, clear photographs with many interesting subjects ranging from vehicles to tanks, heavy weapons, camouflage and equipment photos. The grave photos all point to units in Fallschirmjäger Regiment 3. This is a very nice photo album which would be a great base for further research!

The flag is double sided, with the other side slightly faded Swastika. The Swastika is blue and not discoloured which can be seen photographed at the dotted cutting line that was printed in black and a clear difference with the swastika itself. A very rare original flag with all four orange attatchment ties intact. A must have for the Dutch collaboration collector!

New€3,200.00Textbook Heer M42 field blouse for a Unteroffizier der Panzergrenadiere with period sewn Afrika cufftitle. The garment has factory sewn Litzen and Unteroffizierstresse. The breast eagle was replaced with a privately purchased breast eagle as was common with NCO’s. The shoulderboards are a nice matching pair with lightgreen piping indicating ‘Panzergrenadier’. The sleeve is adorned with a period applied and partially undone at the top. There are a few repairs to the wool which I’ve tried to capture all in photos. The garment is a textbook Panzergrenadier combat tunic in great, uncleaned condition with loads of patina – perfect for a combat display!

Large FLAK tan spotting binoculars marked D.F. 10×80 dkl

The binoculars are nicely marked dkl which indicates production by Josef Schneider & Co., Kreuznach which is a rather hard to encounter manufacturer of optical equipment. Textbook late war example in tan paint which still retains for up to 95%. The binoculars still have the brown coloured face cushion which remains in very good condition for the age of the material. The binoculars are functional, the optics are in good condition but could be cleaned for a better result. Very nice set!

A extremely rare, original pair of binoculars with its original Totenkopf SS-Dienstglas markings!

New€1,750.00Rare SS-Totenkopf straight E-tool carrier in excellent, used condition. When the Totenkopf first entered the war it lacked proper field equipment. Because it was not supplied by the Heer they resulted in acquiring equipment straight from the manufacturers and marking them with the Totenkopf insignia. The e-tool carrier is a nice, pre war example with its original period applied Totenkopf embossing. The carrier is not to be confused with a Heer example which is made with a steel, not aluminium buckle. Hard to upgrade and extremely scarce piece of equipment!

The Dienstglas is complete with the original black Pressstoff carrying case dated 1942 and retains the bakelite rain cover and neck strap. The neck strap has a fragile point but is nicely marked bmj. Most parts (the binoculars itself, the case and the neck strap) are nicely marked bmj which indicates production by Hensoldt u. Soehne, Mechanisch-Optische Werke AG, Wetzlar. Sadly one of the bakelite eye cups is missing. Hard to encounter such a complete set!

Unique battledamaged Q66 M40 single decal helmet from Carpiquet, Normandy
NewUnique battle damaged Q66 M40 single decal helmet from Carpiquet, Normandy. The helmet is a typical M40 Waffen-SS single decal example marked Q66 indicating production by Quist. The helmet retains its original paint finish up to 75% and its decal up to 90%. The helmet has a large damage in the top of the helmet puncturing the shell. The helmet retains its liner; two of the rivets are tight and one has a broken prong which is probably replaced. The helmet was found in 1976 in Carpiquet, Normandy which was the scene of one of the most major battles in Normandy. This place is a clear indicator that this helmet was once worn by a member of the 12th SS Panzer Division ‘Hitlerjugend’. Carpiquet, situated west of Caen was a small village which sat on higher ground. More importantly; it had a airfield that was in use by the Luftwaffe during the Normandy invasion. It was one of the key objectives during D-day and was heavily fought over by the 12th SS Panzer Division ‘Hitlerjugend’ until July 9th when it was finally taken by the 8th Canadian Infantry Brigade. The battle on the top of the helmet is typical as the carpiquet airfield was mostly attacked by fighter bombers for over a month prior to it being overrun.
This is a very nice and historical helmet that would be hard to upgrade and directly linkable to a specific D-day related battle and very interesting unit as the 12th SS Panzer Division ‘Hitlerjugend’.
