    Extremely scarce matching k98 bayonet marked Elite-Diamant indicating production by Elite-Diamant Werke A.G., Siegmar-Schönau. Diamant was a bicycle producer since 1885 and is still producing them today. Bayonets by Elite-Diamant are extremely scarce and highly sought after. This is the first matching example I’ve found in 10 years and it would be very hard to upgrade.

The bayonet is in good matching condition and marked JWH 42 indicating production by Manufacture Nationale (Staatliche Waffenfabrik) Chatellerault in France. Bayonets maker marked JWH are highly sought after and only scarcely encountered in good condition. The bayonet comes with its original frog dated 1940.

    A very nice LP34 in working condition. The LP34 still has the full green anodization finish and never has been repainted. The finish still remains for 99% and this is one of the nicest LP34 flare guns I’ve ever owned.  The LP34 is marked AYF 41 which indicates production by “Erma”, B. Geipel, G.m.b.H., Waffenfabrik, Erfurt.

The pouch is a unique, late war and simplified example without securing bridges for the closing straps. The pouch was originally a bringback found together with a ’45 dated MP44 indicating this pouch would have been made in 1945. The pouch is a textbook and excellent example which is a must have for any equipment collector.

    A nice late war set of original rifle grenade pouches in very good, unissued and undamaged condition. These pouches where issued to carry the heavy rifle grenades and the special rifle grenade blanks to shoot these. These bags are finished in blue canvas with riveted canvas parts. The inside of these pouches feature small sections in which the rifle grenade cartridges where kept. The pouches are marked underneath the flap but it is hard to tell what the stamp says exactly. I have attached a picture of soldiers of SS-Panzergrenadier Regiment 25, with the SS-Schütze Ernst Molter, armed with Kar98K Schießbecher and the same pouches around his neck.

    Hard to upgrade original pouches in nice blue/gray canvas as issued to members of the Wehrmacht and Waffen-SS!

The leather and Presstoff on the holster is in good supple condition and does not seem to have notable damages.

    A nice late war reinforced Leuchtpistole 42 or LP42 flare pistol. Nicely marked euh indicating production by Metallwarenfabrik C.u. W. Meinel-Scholer, Kligenthal/Sachsen. The pistol still retains the original red brown grips, wartime finish on the metal and has not been refinished or reissued postwar. The flare pistol is fitted with a single piece hammer and is reinforced above the grip. The serial is 099558. The best example I’ve ever owned.

The can contained a fuse to ignite the Sprengpatrone Z, a explosive devise that was used in the event of demolition of artillery or guns in armoured vehicles. The Sprengpatrone Z and its attributes are extremely rare to find. The canister is in mint, unissued condition.

  • MG34 barrel carrier

    When firing the MG34 and MG42 continuously the German soldiers where presented with a harsh and difficult task: changing the barrel. The MG34 and MG42 where both made with a quick-change barrel and to help in the changing of the barrel these gloves where invented and issued. These gloves where issued with the accessories of the MG34 and MG42. It is simply used by placing the hand under the strap and using the pad to cover your hand when you grab the hot, sometimes even glowing barrel. The barrel is then placed in the Laufschützer or barrel carrier to cool down and a cool new barrel is inserted. According to regulations, the barrel had to be changed after 150 rounds fired continuously. Every MG team had one or two spare barrels in spare barrel carriers with their field equipment. The MG34 barrel carrier is in very good condition with 95% of the original tan colour remaining. The carrier was once overpainted in blue grey over the original tan factory paint. The carrier is nicely marked beq 1943 indicating production by Framo-Werke G.m.b.H., Hainichen/Sachsen. The carrier is complete with its original LUX marked strap and in very good condition. One of the rarest spares to find for the MG34!

    Nice original NSKK Dienstdolch or NSKK dagger marked RZM M7/13 indicating production by Arthur Schuttelhofer & Co., Solingen-Wald. The Dagger is in exceptional condition; the paint on the scabbard retaining up to 99% and the blade in near mint condition with the full Alles für Deutschland motto. The SA logo still retains the full enamel and as the eagle are a fine fit. A very fine example of a scarce dagger that would be very hard to upgrade!

The dagger is not sharpened and retains the full length unmessed with blade. The leatherette covering the sheath is still in very good condition same as the wire and grip. Superb early Luftwaffe dagger!
