The compass is nicely marked fxn which indicates production by an unknown manufacturer. The compass has an undamaged bakelite housing and still complete with its original factory issue string. Excellent second pattern issue compass in very good condition from a rare manufacturer!

€200.00Very nice original Auer Neophan goggles with red tinted glasses. The eyepieces where tinted red to increase the contrast for better view in poor and strong lighting. These where mostly issued to motorcyclists but also said to be used in submarines. Hard to find in unissued condition and a nice upgrade to a helmet or mannequin!

€350.00Typical wartime “Knijpkat” torch. These flashlights where made utilizing forced labour from Konzentrationslager Herzogenbusch. Unlike most of the wartime used flashlights the “knijpkat” doesn’t have a battery but uses a small internal dynamo. The mechanism is still in great condition and the torch still works! This is a tabbed example (Leather tab for attachment to a button), which indicates that this is a Wehrmacht issued example. Excellent example which is finished in blue paint which is a first for me with the button tab!

The side of the box is branded Weihnachten Kareliën 1943, ᛋᛋ-Geb.Div.Nord. The intention for the box was probably for tobacco or cigarettes. A hard to find original souvenir from 1943’s christmas in Karelia!

This set was commonly gifted to sons going to war, bought by officers or bought at barracks stores. This kit basicly had all the items a soldier would need to keep clean and organised. The Mica is a basic set of period personal items and was designed to fit inside the M31 messkit.
