NewTextbook Heer EM/NCO visor named Redenius. The visor is in good, lightly worn condition with a nice patina all over. The cap is unit marked Infanterie Regiment 90 and named Redenius underneath the sweatshield. The cap most probably belonged to Johann Redenius from Wittmund who was killed in action 30.5.42 in Mostki, Poland.

The cap is in typically crushed condition but nicely displays on a head or with some bubble wrap as a filler. The cap has the typical bright light yellow colour indicating use for Nachrichtentruppen. Choice example that would be very hard to upgrade!

NewRare 1940 dated first pattern so-called hidden-stitch Y-straps in excellent condition. The Y-straps are complete and the leather is still supple as can be seen on the pictures. This examples features only aluminium hardware which is rare to encounter but typical for such an early production. The Y-strap is nicely marked L.L.G., Thuringen 1940. The Y-strap is nicely named Schmidt 4, the 4 probably indicates that the owner was the 4th person in the same unit with the same surname. Impossible to upgrade first pattern example!

The Y-strap is beautifully marked Kern Kläger & Cie, Berlin 1940 and features an eagle with the capital M, which indicates that this is a Kriegsmarine issued example! The Y-straps are manufactured in 1940 and shows a nice and interesting factory mix of steel and aluminium hardware. Very rare Y-strap which would be hard to upgrade!

Rare Heer privately purchased M43 field cap manufactured in captured ribbed cotton. The cap is in very good, untouched condition. The cap was found in a cloth processing plant and has not been touched or altered since. The cocarde is still originally sewn to the cap but is void of a eagle. Looking at the cocarde I think this is a perfect match if one would choose to restore it.

The holster is a very nice early example dated 1934 manufactured out of a high quality brown coloured leather with the internal pockets for the take down tool and for the cleaning rod which is a rare thing to encounter. The holster is nicely marked Carl Heinichen, Dresden 1934 together with a typical pre war style WaA. The holster has a nicely done period repair/reinforcement to the back at one of the belt loops. The holster is on the inside named to a US vet; Garvin Lamb 35900443 which makes this a very interesting piece for further research. Excellent very early example!

Published Heer M40 tropical field cap
Rare, published Heer tropical field cap with factory sewn insignia. The cap is a unique example which is void of the false scallop and side panels. The cockade is fully machine sewn, the eagle is machine sewn on the top then finished by hand. The cap was featured in the 300th issue of Militaria Magazine. The cap is named Oram and a rare and desirable example for any tropical collector.
