This first pattern does not have the steel parts to hold the point off the shovel, has a closing lid and is completely manufactured out of leather. The carrier is nicely marked Leo Schmidt, München 1940. The carrier also features an BAL marking which indicates that this example would be issued to Luftwaffe troops! Excellent example which would be impossible to upgrade!

The carrier is nicely marked jet 4 which indicates production by an unknown manufacturer in 1944. This is the first time ever I have encountered a carrier with these repurposed straps! Impossible to upgrade!

    Rare 1940 dated first pattern so-called hidden-stitch Y-straps in excellent condition. The Y-straps are complete and the leather is still supple as can be seen on the pictures. This examples features only aluminium hardware which is rare to encounter but typical for such an early production. The Y-strap is nicely marked L.L.G., Thuringen 1940. The Y-strap is nicely named Schmidt 4, the 4 probably indicates that the owner was the 4th person in the same unit with the same surname. Impossible to upgrade first pattern example!

The tape is nicely marked Heereseigentum, H1940 and features an BAL367 stamp which indicates that this example is used by the Luftwaffe. The tape is still fully functional and the measurements are still somewhat readable. Excellent example!

    Estate of Albert Berktold serving with Gebirgs Artillerie Regiment 111. The grouping consists of the following items: Q64 single decal M40 helmet, Manouvre recognition band for the helmet, Soldbuch and gasmask with canister which is named and numbered and noted in the Soldbuch. The Soldbuch has a large number of entries and is therefor in used condition. The helmet and gasmask are in near mint condition which is typical for Gebirgsjäger units which often did not field these items.

    The helmet is a textbook Heer single decal example marked Q64 indicating production by Quist. The helmet retains the external finish and decal up to 95%. The helmet retains its factory installed liner and chinstrap which is named to Albert. The gasmask is a typical canister with painted number but the mask inside is not a German but reissued foreign example.

    A unique opportunity to acquire a grouping consisting of a helmet, Soldbuch and a gasmask!

    Rare original Flemish made steel Hitlerjugend belt buckle in unissued condition. The buckle is a typical, Flemish made example with the tell tale silver paint with soldered catch and a typical non-RZM quality overall. There is discussion about the manufacturer of these buckles but the design and finish of these buckles is typical for the Flemish production for me. These buckles where recently found in the former Hitlerjugend recruitment office in Brugge, Belgium. Of 26 buckles found I have the opportunity to offer you several examples. There will not be a restock of these buckles as the source is empty.
